Bibimbap with Wild Chive Sauce & Seasoned Dolnamul

- Ingredients
- Maeil Brewed Soy Sauce
- 160g rice, 120g chwinamul (aster), 15g dolnamul (sedum), 1 tbsp perilla oil, sesame oil, cooking wine, sugar, Korean chili powder (gochugaru), plum extract, vinegar, soy sauce, Korean chili paste (gochujang)
- Directions
Step 1
Add 160g of rice and water, and prepare to cook (please use the white rice setting).
Step 2
Briefly blanch 120g of chwinamul in boiling water for about 30 seconds.
Step 3
10 minutes before the rice is done steaming, add the blanched chwinamul on top and let it cook for the remaining 10 minutes.
Step 4
Wash the wild chives (dallae) and chop them into bite-sized pieces.
Step 5
Mix 4 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon each of cooking wine, sugar, and chili powder, and 2 tablespoons of water. Drizzle in a swirl of sesame oil and mix well.
Step 6
Toss 15g of dolnamul with 1 tablespoon each of chili paste, vinegar, and sugar, and 1/2 tablespoon each of sesame oil and plum extract.
Step 7
Top the chwinamul rice with the prepared wild chive sauce and seasoned dolnamul, and enjoy!
