    How do you feel about celebrating your 80th anniversary?
    Since our founding in 1945, Maeil Foods has prioritized taste and dedication above all else.
    I want to sincerely thank our customers and employees who have been with us for this long journey of 80 years.
    Over the course of a generation, the moments created by Maeil Foods have been more than just ‘products’; they have been stories connecting people. The countless efforts and dedication that have built today’s Maeil Foods are what make up this 80-year history. Every one of these moments fills me with great pride and emotion.

    What are the most memorable moments from the past 80 years?
    I vividly remember the excitement of launching our first soy sauce from a small factory in 1945,
    and the moments we took our first steps into the international market beyond Korea. I also can’t forget the
    ‘flavor tasting events’ where we felt our customers’ love directly,
    and the moments when our employees, with true craftsmanship, perfected our products.
    Every moment has been special, and the fact that small acts of dedication built great trust always keeps me humble.

    What do you think is Maeil Foods' unique value?
    I believe Maeil Foods’ greatest strength is ‘honesty and trust.’
    Continuously thinking about the taste and quality our customers want, and ensuring that the dedication
    of every single employee is poured into our products, is our unique value.
    The 80 years of experience and tradition that we’ve carried on since 1945 are the true power of Maeil Foods.”

    What is your vision for preparing for the next 100 years?
    We will continue to lead a healthy and safe food culture and grow into a brand recognized in the global market. Under our vision, ‘Maeil’s Flavor, Connecting the World,’ we will create a sustainable food culture by preserving tradition while never stopping innovation. We plan to introduce eco-friendly ingredients and advanced production processes to ensure both taste and safety, and to deliver ‘the taste of Korea’ not only to domestic but also to international customers.

    Do you have a message for your employees and customers?
    This 80-year history was built with the dedication and love of both our customers and our employees.
    The small efforts of each and every day came together to create this great history,
    and thanks to that, Maeil Foods exists today. Moving forward, we will continue to build a more delicious and healthier tomorrow together, based on mutual trust and passion.
